Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information EaseFlow collects, why, and how it's handled.
Last updated: 5 August 2026
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to anyone who creates an account on EaseFlow, and to information EaseFlow users enter about their own customers (for example, on an invoice or quotation).
2. Information we collect
2.1 Account information
When you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your name, email address, and password (or sign-in method). We receive your account identifier and profile details from Clerk to associate your activity with your EaseFlow account.
2.2 Business information you provide
Business name, logo, address, contact details, preferred currency, and other details you enter in your business profile and settings.
2.3 Customer information you enter
Names, contact details, and addresses of your own customers/clients, entered by you so you can create invoices, receipts, and quotations for them. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to enter this information about your customers.
2.4 Documents and business records
The invoices, receipts, quotations, products, and payment records you create in EaseFlow, including line items, amounts, and status (e.g. paid, overdue).
2.5 Payment-related information
Subscription payments are processed by Paystack. EaseFlow does not store your card number or banking credentials. We receive confirmation of payment status and a reference from Paystack. If you pay by bank transfer, we record the plan you paid for and the activation code used.
2.6 Device and usage information
Standard technical information such as browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected via Vercel Analytics for the purpose of understanding product usage. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles.
3. Cookies
EaseFlow uses cookies required for authentication and session security. See our Cookie Policy for details.
4. How we use information
- To provide and operate your account and the documents you create
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure
- To process subscription payments and apply the correct plan limits
- To respond to support requests you send us
- To understand product usage and improve EaseFlow
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access
5. How information is stored and secured
Your data is stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database. Access to production data is restricted, sensitive actions (such as payment and subscription changes) are recorded in an internal audit log, and the site is served with standard transport and browser security protections. See our Security page for more detail. Only describe security controls we can verify. We do not claim any third-party security certification.
6. Who we share information with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers needed to run EaseFlow:
- Clerk: authentication and account sign-in
- Supabase: database and file storage
- Paystack: payment processing for card payments
- Vercel: hosting and basic product analytics
We may also disclose information if required to comply with a valid legal request, to the extent required by applicable law.
7. Data retention
We retain account and document data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep records for legal, security, or accounting reasons.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can request account deletion or a copy of your data by contacting us (see Section 11). Because EaseFlow is intended for use by Nigerian businesses, we aim to honor these rights consistently with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023, where applicable.
9. Children's privacy
EaseFlow is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. International data transfers
Some of our service providers may process or store data outside Nigeria. Where this happens, we rely on those providers' own safeguards and only work with providers that are appropriate for handling business data of this kind.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as EaseFlow's features, registration status, or service providers change. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
